The Annapolis Blend began in 1966 as the Arundelair Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, founded with just 21 members under the direction of Mary Avis. Over nearly six decades, ten talented directors have guided our ensemble. Since 2018, we have been proudly led by Jenny Harris.
Today, we are a thriving mid-sized chorus of more than 40 singers. In 2025, we were honored with the “Most Improved” award at the Regional Competition and recognized as one of the fastest-growing Sweet Adeline choruses in the world. This momentum reflects our mission: to achieve joyful excellence in women’s four-part a cappella and barbershop singing, and to perform and engage as an integral part of the Annapolis community.
